Edorble Joins the Edugild Accelerator

by Gabe Baker

We are thrilled to announce that Edorble has been accepted to the the next cohort of the Edugild ed-tech startup accelerator, the first of its kind in India. We are convinced that Edugild has the connections, expertise, and commitment to help us take Edorble to the next level in Asia and around the world. Beyond those things, we know that Edugild is as passionate as we are about having a positive impact on the lives of as many teachers and students as possible.

Edorble has always seen itself as as a global education company, and we're thrilled that so many of our users, and our team itself, hail from countries all around the world. Our participation in Edugild will strengthen our global reach, network, and user base, and we'll be connected with mentors and partners with decades of experiences in the ed-tech industry. This couldn't come at a better time for us. We are about to release our first early access beta for the Oculus Rift, and support for other VR headsets will be coming in future months. The market for online learning, 3D technology, and for VR hardware is growing rapidly in Asia, creating a perfect storm of opportunity for a tool like ours which leverages 3D/VR technology to make online learning more personal, playful, and powerful. Edugild has as strong a belief in our team and product as we do in theirs. We couldn't be more excited to join their upcoming cohort.

Based in Santa Barbara, California, Edorble aspires to make online learning and meetings more personal, playful and powerful with use of emerging 3D/VR technologies across all devices. We plan to change the way people communicate and collaborate in the online education and corporate meeting space. 3D environments are known for being able to bring a sense of presence and immersion to online interactions. Edorble is making one that is built for collaboration and which will leverage next-generation VR hardware.
